Member British Acupuncture Council

IMG 0057Jody set up Well-being Acupuncture in 2004.  Since then she has helped many hundreds of people find increased well-being in their lives.  More recently, Anne Fallan has joined the clinic and now sees patients in Broxbourne on Tuesdays.

About Jody

Jody practices an integrated style of Chinese Medicine, combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with the more subtle Five Element style. With over 12 years experience,  Jody’s passion for acupuncture stems from its ability to restore balance and well-being at an emotional and mental level as well as on the physical level.  A member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Acupuncture Fertility Network, Jody is fully insured and follows stringent safety standards.

Fertility and pregnancy are two areas Jody is particularly experienced in treating. She is an affiliated acupuncturist to the Zita West clinic and a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network. In 2010, Jody travelled to China with Zita West and a small group of acupuncturists for a fertility study trip.

In 2005 Jody was part of a team of acupuncturists who travelled to Sri Lanka to provide acupuncture for people affected by the Tsunami.

Yoga, meditation and tantra are areas of passionate interest for Jody too.   Developing a deeper and stronger capacity for presence, inner stillness and connection with Life is an integral part of Jody's life and an important influence in her practice of acupuncture and healing.

About Anne

Anne's interest in acupuncture and natural health developed several years ago and from it arose her appreciation of the philosophy behind Traditional Chinese Medicine which guides so much of the work of today's acupuncture practitioners.

After 3 years of training at the City College of Acupuncutre in London, Anne started practising in the summer of 2016 in Hertfordshire.

During her training Anne's specialisation became digestive disorers and complaints and Anne wrote her dissertation on IBS and the role acupuncture can play in treating this complex syndrome.  Anne's time in clinic brought her into contact with patients suffering with a range of conditions including: menopause, skin disorders, anxiety, fatigue, infertility, migraine, back pain and other muscoskeletal problems.
